Thames raid to Beal Park 2012

Hi all this is my first message to HBBR and I,m not quite sure what to say but here goes ,I had the good fortune to meet several of you last year at the lower lode meet on the severn and was impressed with the friendly attitude of all concerned Timmo chris paul port,n,storm and ratcatcherjohn who very kindly gave my wife and I a trip to the pub and afterwards a lovely little cruise along the severn then back to lower lode thankyou john . Anyway I have since finished and sailed on the severn a Linnet sailing dinghy and would like to take part in the Thames raid to Beal Park if that is okay Thanks Bernie .

Re: Thames raid to Beal Park 2012

Will be great to have you along. Look forward to seeing the new Linnet. Does she have a name?

Keep following the relevant thread...

...and news about the raid will be posted. At the moment I'm gathering the list of who's coming and Tony Waller is checking capacities and availabilities of campsites. Once the overnights are planned we can fill in the details and sort out car shuttling logistics.

Just a couple of questions at this stage... I assume you'll be camping ashore (but correct me if you've rigged the Linnet to sleep aboard.) Will you be accompanied on the trip? Do you think you'll need to be involved in the car shuttling exercise between the Trout Inn near Lechlade and Beale Park?

"MilliBee" is an anagram of Michelle, Liza and Bethan; my 3 lovely daughters.
She was named with pride!
